Table bookings and cancellations

New Coast Kitchen is a small, family run business relying upon bookings being honoured by our guests or sufficient notice being given of any required changes to reservations.

We therefore kindly request that diners give us notification if a cancellation or an amendment is required.

For tables of 1-5 guests we request 24 hours notice of cancellation or amendment. For tables of 6 or more diners we require 48 hours notice of cancellation or amendment. Please note that for groups of 6 or more we add a discretionary 12.5% service charge.

We will take a credit or debit card number to confirm your reservation, and these details will be held in a secure PCI-DSS compliant vault. For further information, please visit: https://stripe.com/docs/security/stripe,

We will only make a charge if you fail to turn up without notice, or cancel your booking within 24 hours (1-5 guests) or 48 hours (6 or more guests) of your table reservation. In this case, we will charge a cancellation fee of £30 per person for dinner and £15 per person for lunch. Unfortunately, our experience of parties amending or cancelling bookings at short notice means this precaution is necessary.

N.B. For all reservations you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive this, please check your junk mail before contacting us.

We politely ask that you are ready to be seated at your time of booking or contact us if you are running late. We hold your table for 20 minutes and will release it if we have not been contacted. Please note, any bookings over 6 people are not guaranteed to be on the same table. We are a small restaurant with limited large seating options. We will always do our best to sit parties together or as close as possible.

To ensure that we can cater for you appropriately, please notify us of any dietary requirements prior to your visit. By making a reservation at New Coast Kitchen you agree to our reservation and cancellation terms. We wish to thank you for your understanding and co-operation and look forward to welcoming you to New Coast Kitchen.

Children

We are delighted to welcome everyone of all ages at New Coast Kitchen. Due to the size of our restaurant and the style of service we are sadly unable to accommodate highchairs and pushchairs and we do not have the facilities to welcome very young children. If your little one is happy to sit at the table and dine from our full menu, we would love to serve them with you. Please note that we do not offer a separate children’s menu.
